Allegiant must review the request, confirm the scope and pricing, and accept the engagement before work begins.
1. Website use
By using this website, you agree to these Website Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or its forms.
The website provides general information about Allegiant's services and ways to request assistance. Website content is not individualized tax, legal, accounting, payroll, investment or financial advice and should not be used as a substitute for advice based on your complete circumstances.
2. No client relationship from website use
Viewing the website, sending a text or email, uploading a document, or submitting an intake or interest form does not by itself create a tax preparer-client, accountant-client, payroll-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship.
An engagement begins only after Allegiant accepts the work and the parties agree to the applicable scope, pricing, responsibilities and service terms. An engagement letter or other written agreement controls if it conflicts with these Website Terms.
3. Services, scope and pricing
Services may include tax preparation, return reviews, tax-notice reviews, amended-return support, tax planning, bookkeeping and payroll support. Availability depends on the facts, deadlines, complexity, capacity and information provided.
Website descriptions are summaries, not promises that every listed service is appropriate or available for every request. Pricing is determined after review of the requested work and is confirmed before work begins.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing complete, accurate and timely information and documents.
- Reviewing information, drafts and returns presented for your approval.
- Responding promptly to questions and identifying important deadlines.
- Maintaining your own copies of records and filed documents.
- Making tax payments, payroll deposits or other required payments by the applicable deadlines unless a written agreement expressly assigns a particular task to Allegiant.
- Using the correct form and following instructions for transmitting documents.
Allegiant may rely on information you provide unless the engagement requires additional verification.
5. Communications, appointments and information security
Allegiant operates as a remote-first practice. Text and email are welcome anytime, but an immediate response is not guaranteed. Phone calls are generally scheduled after 3:30 PM on weekdays. In-person meetings are limited and must be arranged in advance.
By providing an email address or telephone number, you authorize Allegiant to contact you about your inquiry or engagement using those methods. Do not use text, ordinary email or a general inquiry form to send Social Security numbers, bank information, passwords or sensitive tax documents. Use the document-upload process only when Kyle requests it.
Electronic services involve risks outside Allegiant's control. Although reasonable safeguards are used, no website, message or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure or continuously available.
6. Deadlines, notices and time-sensitive matters
Website forms and ordinary messages are not monitored as emergency channels. Submitting a tax notice, return or question does not extend a filing, response, appeal, payment or other deadline.
You remain responsible for identifying known deadlines and obtaining timely assistance. Allegiant is not responsible for a missed deadline before an engagement is accepted or when necessary information is not provided in time.
7. Third-party services and links
The website links to services operated by Google, Facebook, GitHub and others. Allegiant does not control those third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security or privacy practices. Your use of them is also governed by their own terms and policies.
8. No guaranteed outcome
Allegiant does not guarantee a particular refund, tax savings, agency decision, payroll outcome, deadline extension or business result. Outcomes depend on the facts, applicable law, information supplied, agency action and other circumstances.
Client reviews describe individual experiences and do not promise that another client will receive the same result.
9. Website availability and liability
The website and its general information are provided on an “as available” basis. Allegiant works to keep the content accurate and accessible but does not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, current or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, Allegiant is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting solely from use of, or inability to use, this website or an unaffiliated third-party service. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Intellectual property
The Allegiant name, logo, website design, original text and other site materials belong to Allegiant Tax Preparation or are used with permission. They may not be copied, republished or used to imply endorsement without permission, except for ordinary personal use of the website.
11. Michigan law and changes
These Website Terms are governed by Michigan law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Allegiant may update these terms as services, technology or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date.
