A practical starting package

More than submitting a form—without pretending to be a law firm.

The filing itself is only one step. Allegiant helps connect the administrative filing to the tax, banking, payment, and recordkeeping decisions a new owner needs to understand.

Federal tax setup

Understand the default federal treatment and complete a guided EIN application with the responsible party participating.

  • Basic classification explanation
  • Guided IRS EIN application
  • Tax-calendar starting points

Cleaner business finances

Start separating business activity before mixed accounts and incomplete records create a tax-time problem.

  • Business banking checklist
  • Payment-system considerations
  • Bookkeeping next-step review

Fit and complexity review

The standard package is intentionally narrow.

It is designed for straightforward Michigan single-member LLCs. Kyle reviews the intake before confirming that the standard service fits the ownership, activity, and filing needs.

Complete the short screening form

Usually a good fit

One individual owner, Michigan formation, ordinary business activity, and standard Articles.

Needs additional review

Two or more owners, existing business activity, employees, sales-tax questions, or unusual ownership.

May need an attorney

Custom operating agreements, liability questions, investor terms, licensed professional entities, or ownership disputes.

Separate services

Bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns, tax elections, licenses, and historical cleanup require their own confirmed scope.

Clear starting options

Choose the filing setup or build a fuller launch plan.

LLC startup questions

Know what the service does—and does not—include.

Have a different question? Text (616) 541‑5158 or email Allegiant.

Is the Michigan filing fee included in the $249?

No. Michigan's standard Articles of Organization fee is currently $50 and is separate from Allegiant's professional fee. State and expedited-processing fees may change.

Does the IRS charge for an EIN?

No. The IRS issues EINs without a government application fee. Allegiant's package includes guided assistance so the responsible party can complete the application with the business information entered consistently.

Will forming an LLC automatically lower my taxes?

No. An LLC is created under state law, while its federal tax treatment depends on the number of owners and any elections made. Allegiant explains the basic default treatment; any separate tax election requires its own review and authorization.

Is an operating agreement included?

No customized operating agreement or other legal document is included. Allegiant does not provide legal advice. When legal drafting or advice is needed, the client should work with a Michigan attorney.

Can Allegiant help with a multi-member LLC?

Potentially, but it is not covered automatically by the standard package. Multiple owners create additional legal, tax-return, recordkeeping, and agreement considerations, so the facts must be reviewed before scope and pricing are confirmed.

Does submitting the intake authorize a filing?

No. The form is only a request for review. Allegiant will not file an LLC, apply for an EIN, make a tax election, or begin paid work until the scope, price, required information, and written authorization are completed.
